Student Magazine Plan

This is my plan so far for my preliminary task: student magazine

Student magazine plan:

-          Front cover:

Ø  Students on the front with results in hand, happy, smiling

Ø  Background: in the street

Ø  Cover story: students that came to LSC with bad GCSE results receive some of the best A Level results in the borough.

Ø  Other stories on the cover:   enrichment activities, sports matches coming up, music students win local music contest.

Ø  Masthead: Colour: blue. Title: Leytons Latest.

Ø  Colour scheme: blue & white & yellow.

 

-          Contents page:

Ø  One image, Students on the front doing some work in the library.

Ø  Background will have books to show that they are in the library.

Ø  Different categories and titles of different articles etc. under them

Q Magazine Contents Page

This is the contents page of Q magazine.

The contents page makes it easier for the reader to easily find something that interests them.
the regulars of the magazine are in chronological order, however, there are images on the contents page of feature articles, and the pages they are on. this is to attract readers to these particular articles, which may be interesting or the cover story like Muse.
The layout of the contents page isn't really 'neat' the images don't seem to be in any particular order.
The contents page also has a section that shows things that are in the magazine for 'this month'.
Personally, I don't really like the contents page, it's a bit all over the place and doesn't really look nice.
