How are the fans of this particular type of music represented?
What age group/gender/ethnicity do you think this magazine is aimed at?
Are the images used in this magazine a positive/negative/mixed representation of this?
i think that the audience is of a small, female, teenage group ranging from 14-18 years old. i think this because all of the images within the magazine are of young women of what looks like a young age. the font is also soft, flexible and fluent in some areas, this represents the femininity of the magazine which can be seen in the contents page.
the price of the magazine is only £2.00 which is very cheap. this could mean the audience is less willing to pay for a magazine, therefore there parents are of a working class and they are less likely to be working.
I think it is a female audience from the ages 14 to 19. Mainly because of the male models and also the pull quote you see in the DPS. These light colours look more feminine which may suit its audience. I don't think it has a specific ethnicity. The images are a positive represenation of it.
